Walter Rider Walter Cleo Rider, 72, of State Route 335, Beaver, Ohio went to be with the Lord Saturday June 2, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born March 28, 1940 in Waverly, Ohio, son of the late Roleigh W. Rider and Nellie Demint Rider Murray. On February 20, 1960, Walter was united in marriage to Grace Ann Colegrove Rider who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Walter Rider, Jr. and wife Bonnie of Waverly, Wayne Rider and wife Hope of Beaver, Wendell Rider and wife Paula of Beaver; five grandchildren, Megan Rider, Zac Renfro, Ashley Rider, Nathan Rider, Sarah Rider, five great grandchildren, Caden, Madison, Jaylyn, Evan, Elly, a brother, Kenneth Rider and wife Bonnie of Peebles, Ohio, a nephew Kenneth Leo Rider and a niece Tammy Hitt and husband Greg. In addition to his parents, a brother, Leo Rider and several aunts, uncles and cousins preceded Walter in death. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME, in Waverly. Burial will follow in Omega Cemetery, Waverly.
