Jane Louise Yeary
Jane Louise Yeary, 88, formerly of Waverly, Ohio died 4:30 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon, Ohio.
She was born June 8, 1921 in Altoona Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Norman Howard Housum and Sadie Emma (Yetter) Housum. On September 5, 1941, Jane was united in marriage to Charles Orville Yeary who preceded her in death on February 14, 2001.
Surviving are two sons, Norman Charles Yeary and wife Pam of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and David Alan Yeary of Chillicothe, Ohio; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, two daughters, Marilyn Yeary and Carol Ann Loesch, two brothers, Kenneth Norman and William Howard Housum and one sister, Dorothy Irene Bromall preceded Jane in death.
Jane was a retired secretary for South Central Power and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Evangelist Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday.
