I'm so sorry for your loss. Velma was a wonderful person, never saw her without that big friendly smile. Couldn't bring myself to go to her viewing but she was in my thoughts.

Jim, I am so very sorry to hear of Velma's passing. She was such an inspiration to me and I treasured our friendship. She was a very generous and compassionate person, but most of all, she had a very positive outlook on life. In the few short years I got to know her, I could talk to her about anything. I will always treasure those memories, for we shared similarities in our battle (which I am still fighting) and supported each other in our struggles. Velma was one of a kind. The strongest and most courageous woman I have ever known. She had a heart of gold and was so giving to others. I will miss you, my friend. I will see you in Heaven. Have lots of hugs ready! Love and prayers to the family.
