She was born February 13, 1925 in Washington Court House, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph Davis and Clara Elizabeth Devers Davis. On March 5, 1946, Ruth was united in marriage to Burl Henry Edwards who preceded her in death on June 26, 2004. Surviving is a daughter, Kathleen Dingus of Lucasville, Ohio, three grandsons, Jack Dingus and wife Maria, Anthony Dingus and wife Krissy, Edward Dingus and wife April, a granddaughter, Julie Roar, eight great grandchildren, Tiffany Dingus Garrison, Shyann, Jacob, Josh, Andrew, Brady and Blake Dingus, special great granddaughter, Tori Dingus and well as two great great grandchildren, Cody and Austin Garrison. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 22, 2012 at the Bailey Chapel Cemetery at Piketon, Ohio with Rev. Donald Hamilton, officiating.
