Mary Lou Hopkins, 80, of Stafford Drive, Waverly, OH died 5:25 P.M. Saturday 11 August 2012 at her residence.
She was born 26 May 1932 in Parkersburg, WV the daughter of the late John T. Jordan and Virginia Dare (Taylor) Jordan. On 2 January 1952 she was united in marriage to Robert Gene Hopkins, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons Gregory N. Hopkins and wife Velvet of Huntsville, Al, Steven D. Hopkins and wife Jill and Rob B. Hopkins both of Waverly, OH, five grandchildren, Mary Beth Hopkins, Martin Hopkins, Adam Hopkins and wife Stephanie, Nathaniel Hopkins and wife Tina and Alex Hopkins, and one great grandson, Cade Deacon Hopkins.
Mary Lou was a member of Christ Church of Waverly, a retired Loan Officer for Waverly Building and Loan and a former Councilwoman for the City of Waverly.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday 16 August 2012 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Chaplain Billy Morris, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home 6 – 8 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday.
