Glenna Mae Slusher

Glenna Mae Slusher, 62, of Crowley Street, Ashville, Ohio died Saturday July 28, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born February 15, 1950 in Springfield, Ohio, daughter of the late James “Jimmy” Barnett and Rhoda Thornsberry Barnett. On October 11, 1967 Glenna was united in marriage to Ralph Slusher, who survives.
Also surviving is three children, Sherri O’Bryan of Ashville, Tracey Slusher of Corsicana, Texas, Ralph Dwayne Slusher and wife Sandy of Circleville, Ohio, four grandchildren, Christoph Duwe of Corsicana, Joseph O’Bryan of Jackson, Ohio, Glenda O’Bryan of Jackson, Dylan Slusher of Circleville, two great grandchildren, Laura O’Bryan and Aiden Duwe. Also surviving are four brothers, Mike Barnett and wife Larita of Portsmouth, Ohio, Carl Barnett and wife Georgie of Beaver, Ohio, Dennis Barnett of Beaver, Ronnie Barnett and wife Jennifer of Beaver, four sisters, Thelma Slusher and husband Mike of Stockdale, Ohio, Ellen Slusher of Stockdale, Shirley Moore and husband Billy of Columbus, Ohio and Bertha Byrd of Waverly, Ohio, as well as seven nephews and 12 nieces.
In addition to her parents, her in-laws, Charlie and Laurie Slusher preceded Glenna in death.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday at the Old Philadelphia Tabernacle in Minford, Ohio with Pastor Maurice Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Little Ettie Cemetery at Beaver.
Friends may call at the church after 4:00 p.m. Thursday and until the service on Friday.
