Name: Frances Fay Beekman Dates: Birth date: January 23, 1944 Death date: July 25, 2012 Obituary: Frances Fay Beekman, 68, of Third Street, Waverly, Ohio died very unexpectedly Wednesday 25 July 2012 in Chicago, Illinois. She was born 23 January 1944 in Saint Clere, Kansas, daughter of the late Francis R. Roark and Alice Carey (Schram) Roark. On 4 June 1965 she was united in marriage to Blaine Beekman, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Scott M. Beekman and wife Kim of Athens, Ohio daughter Carey Webster and husband Matt, of Ashburn Virginia, a grandson Miller Beekman, as well as five half sisters, Mary Roark of Waverly, Judy Carmichael, Wanda Yates, Brenda Hans all of Florida and Sherry Brickey of Virginia. Frances was a retired Chief Probation Officer for Pike County Juvenile Court. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road, Waverly, OH Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home 4 – 8 P.M.
