Sylvia Marie Bloomfield, 85, formerly of Red Hollow Road, Waverly, OH died 8:10 p.m. Saturday 7 July 2012 at Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon, OH.
She was born 2 June 1927 in Big Ugly, WV the daughter of the late Charley Walker Parsons and Nancy (Pritchard) Parsons. On 17 July 1986 she was married to Lonnie Bloomfield who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Charlie Colegrove and wife Linda of Waverly, OH, Cecil Colegrove and wife Eva of Piketon, Oh and Chris Parsons and wife Ramona of Russell, KY and a daughter/niece, Nancy Napier of LeSage, WV, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Sylvia’s parents and first husband, Noah Colegrove preceded her in death.
Sylvia formerly attended the Living Word Tabernacle, Burlington, OH and Anchor of Hope Church of God, Waverly, OH and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, 11 July 2012 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME, Waverly, OH with Rev. Hearl Adkins, officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Union Cemetery, Beaver, OH.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home 4 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from noon until the services hour on Wednesday.
