Arlene Faye Ison

Arlene Faye Ison, 75, of Schmitt Drive, Waverly, Ohio, died 6:46 p.m. Sunday July 1, 2012 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.
She was born August 15, 1936 in Piketon, Ohio, daughter of the late Hiram Craig “Pete” Tackett and Emma Owens Tackett.
Surviving are three children, Barry Keith Ison and wife Marilyn of Piketon, Alan Kent Ison of Beaver, Ohio, Patricia Jenkins of Lucasville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, a son, Larry Jarvis Ison, a daughter, Cheryl Lynne Burkitt, eight brothers, Raymond, Eugene, Bill, Carl, Estel, Pete, Jr., James and Harold Tackett as well as three sisters, Eileen Mustard, Mary England and Ruby Tackett preceded Arlene in death.
Arlene was a retired cook for Hiles Drive In at Lucasville, Ohio.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
Calling hours will not be observed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Boyer Funeral Home in Arlene’s name.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly.
