Martha Maxine Sears

Martha Maxine Sears, 94, formerly of East Third Street, Waverly, Ohio died 4:20 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon, Ohio.
She was born December 9, 1917 in Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of the late Albert Noel and Vivian (Burchett) Noel. On September 7, 1935 Maxine was united in marriage to Thomas Bahan Sears who preceded her in death on October 4, 2005.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Sears of Waverly, Ohio, one son, Irvin Sears and wife Joann of St. Augustine, Florida, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, two sons, Bill Sears, Dale Sears, two grandsons, Shawn Sears, Stephan Sears, two sisters, Helen Estep, Lorraine Balentine and a brother, George Noel preceded Maxine in death.
Maxine was a homemaker, former department store sales clerk and a member of First Baptist Church, Waverly, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly, OH with Val Francis, Pastor, Officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
