Obituaries

Edna Marie Barnett, 89, of Morgans Fork Road, Waverly, OH died 6:00 a.m. Friday 8 June 2012 at her residence.
She was born 20 June 1922 in Bainbridge, OH the daughter of the late Leslie Morris and Mary Faye (Kepler) Morris. On August 1947 she was united in marriage to Marvin Curtis Barnett who preceded her in death on 21 April 1998.
Surviving are one son, Melvin Barnett, two daughters, Sharon Barnett and Rosemary Barnett, grandsons, Joshua Barnett and Annie, Kittrick Barnett and Tammy, granddaughter Melissa Shell and husband Alan three great grandchildren, Kimberly, Cody and Justin all of Waverly, OH.
In addition to her parents and husband, one brother, four sisters and a special friend, Betty Bivens preceded Edna in death.
Edna was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church in Chillicothe, OH and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 12 June 2012 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly, OH with Pastor E. L. Heskett, Officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery, Waverly.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 – 6 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour on Tuesday.
