Orland Gene Simpson

Orland Gene Simpson, 90, of Market Street, Richmond Dale, Ohio died Friday June 1, 2012 at his home.
He was born December 29, 1921 in Richmond Dale, son of the late J. Clyde Simpson and Elizabeth Marie (Reutinger) Simpson. On January 14, 1946, Orland was united in marriage to Anna Maxine (Hatfield) Simpson, who preceded him in death on January 22, 1977.
Surviving are two sons, Terry Orland Simpson and wife Shelley L. of Richmond Dale, Donald Lee Simpson and wife Donna Kay of Chillicothe, Ohio; five grandchildren, Derrick L. Simpson, Greg D. Simpson, Chad E. Simpson and wife Stephanie, Craig R. Simpson and Jill M. Henderson and husband Chad Eric and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, a sister, Virginia Simpson and a brother, Bryon Charles Simpson preceded Orland in death.
Orland was a retired farmer, a school bus driver for the Southeastern School District in Ross County and had formerly attended the Richmond Dale Church of God.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME, in Waverly with Rev. Larry Ault, officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5 - 7 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
