Lucille Waters

Lucille Sexton Waters, 89 of Lucas Street, Piketon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Pike Community Hospital in Waverly, Ohio.
She was born August 7, 1922 in Menifee County, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Wesley Sexton and Martha Ann Donathan Sexton. On August 20, 1938, Lucille was united in marriage to William Waters who preceded her in death on July 12, 1984.
Surviving are three daughters, Sadie Waters of Piketon, Jane Meade and husband Willie of Beaver, Ohio, Shirley Ann Meade of Lucasville, Ohio, a son, Wintfred Waters of Defuniak Springs, Florida, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, a son, Nugene Waters, a daughter, Joyce Waters and two grandsons, Harrison Andrew Meade and James Zackary Meade preceded Lucille in death.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Howe wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon, with Pastor Alan Newberry officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery, Waverly.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Monday.
